fuckyeahtattoos: these are outlined from paintings my sister did. one is kind of “depressed” i would say…the other - manically happy. i love art and especially her work but these two are kind of symbolic of a life of living with bi-polar disorder…ups and downs. one side says ‘mal de vie’ and the other ‘joie de vie’ both kinda personalized to me. ANYWAYS this was done at BUJU Tattoo in San Diego by DIANA!!! She’s amazing. Only women work at this shop which i loved since hetero-cis-macho-bro types usually dominate tattoo shops.
